Norwegian Deathpop Band “Blood Command” Releases New Album

Norwegian deathpop band Blood Command will drop their massively anticipated 4th studio album, Praise Armageddonism, on July 1st with Hassle Records. Their sound is an interesting blend of pop, punk, rock and metal that’s been known as “Deathpop by many and more to come! It is intensely catchy, however, remains to keep the metalcore and punk rocker attitude of bands such as The Runaways, Flyleaf, My Chemical Romance, Ceremony, etc. They recently brought on a new vocalist Nikki Brumen who was previously the vocalist for Australian punk-metal band Pagan and adds that kick ass energy to the band.

Personally, I really enjoy this record and I am known not to be a big fan of newer music. I am more like those old deathcore kids that still say Suicide Silence’s The Cleansing is one the greatest albums ever made and I will die on that hill. However, this album has definitely caught my attention almost immediately. The one song that really stands out for me is “A Villian’s Monologue”, once the song begins you immediately get this beat that reminds me a lot of The Runaways. Then the intensity of Nikki’s vocals blasts through the hard hitting song. If this song is not on the next Tony Hawk Pro Skater, I am definitely going to be upset, this song definitely gives me hints of playing the first three Pro Skaters on Playstation 2.

Keep an eye on this band because I see this band going super far places and be sure to check out “Praise Armageddonism” on July 1sr! In the meantime, you can check out the music video for “A Villian’s Monologue” below!!
